3 The exterior design was based on a large number of functional improvements. The asymmetrical windshield was kept and the field of vision for the driver was further improved. The measurements of glass panels and doors were standardized to allow maximum flexibility with a minimum of parts. The interfaces of the lights into the body panels are designed to accommodate different modules and to best accommodate the manufacturing tolerances. |
